Two Komori Lithrone 5-Color Presses

Aspen Graphics exclusively uses Komori presses for our large format printing. In 2001, we purchased our newest press, a 28" Komori Lithrone 5 color press. This press features an in-line aqueous coating unit, a virtually "hickey-free" dampening system, ghosting prevention rollers and the PDC-S computer color copntrol system. The PDC-S system automatically scans the printed sheets and automates ink key settings. This reduces makeready times and paper waste and keeps the color consistent throughout the press run. The Komori L-528 also features a KMS interface to our digital prepress system that automatically sets ink keys based on CIP3 digital separation information from our Delta RIP, all before the first sheet comes off the press.

Small Press Department

Aspen Graphics can cover all of your small press printing needs as well as the large format jobs. Our small press department features a 2-color Heidelberg Quickmaster and an AB Dick 9850 with a T-Head operated by experienced tradesmen to ensure the highest quality. By using our digitally-imaged plates, we are able to run with the same line screen and high quality as our large press department.
